Epson launches EH-LS500B Laser Projection TV
SYDNEY, 8 September 2020 – Epson Australia has launched its new immersive 4K TV viewing experience – also known as Laser Projection TV1 – representing a new generation of digital projection that redefines the everyday television experience by offering a stunning picture up to 130 inches.
Equipped with Epson’s 4K PRO-UHD2 3LCD technology, the Epson Laser Projection TV combines an advanced EH-LS500B Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector along with an Ultra High-Definition Ambient Light Rejecting Screen to produce vivid colours and deep blacks for an exceptionally bright, colourful, and sharp picture in virtually any viewing environment. The unique ultra-short-throw lens allows setup just a half metre from any wall for an image up to 130 inches in size that does not detract from the home’s design or interior.

As well as 4K PRO-UHD2, the home theatre projection technology that comes only from Epson, the Laser Projection TV also enjoys up to 3x brighter colours and ultra-reliable performance3 by using Epson’s 3LCD, 3-chip technology.
Epson’s break through laser technology provides up to 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance free operation, with the added benefits of higher image contrast and instant ON/OFF and ultra-bright Images of 4,000 lumens colour and 4,000 lumens white.
There’s also a dedicated 4K enhancement processor2 which uses Epson’s advanced pixel-shifting resolution-enhancement technology to give an exceptional 4K visual experience. The EH-LS500B also has the ability to provide a more realistic and natural image with a dedicated full 10-bit HDR Processor, which uses 100% of the HDR source information.
The Dedicated Digital Imaging Processor provides real-time full 12-bit analogue-to-digital video processing for smooth tonal transitions and the system features an extraordinary contrast ratio up to 2,500,000:1, for exceptionally deep blacks and brilliant, vivid colours.
