Sony focuses on AI, displays, automation and control at Integrate 2019
On stand E10

SYDNEY, 22 August 2019 – Sony Australia will be focusing on the key areas of AI, displays, automation and control on stand E10 at this year’s Integrate Expo from 27-29 August at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In the field of AI Sony will demonstrate its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Edge Analytics solution, the REA-C1000, which allows users to create video content in real time, without the need for professional training, additional staff or equipment.

The compact and lightweight REA-C1000 uses its advanced AI-based video analytics technology to analyse the input received from connecting cameras, automatically extract the object in focus and combine it with other images in real time on a GPU (Graphics Processor Unit). This unique technology uses motion/face detection and colour/shape recognition, effectively making the REA-C1000 the powerful brain to any connecting camera and AV setup to create professional content in a cost-effective manner for education, government and corporate organisations, keeping audiences engaged.

Next on the hit list are Sony’s BRAVIA 4K HDR display partnerships with Kramer Technology and Exterity.

With the integration of Kramer Control BRAINware into Sony’s BZ35F series of BRAVIA 4K HDR professional displays, the control processor software turns the already impressive displays into the centrepiece of any AV installation with game changing control, automation and analytics features.

The software-based control solution makes it innately scalable and future proof, providing unparalleled control and automation tools for virtually any space. From modern meeting rooms to advanced digital signage applications, Kramer Control BRAINware eliminates the need for additional control processor hardware and cabling, greatly simplifying installation and reducing costs.

Sony has also been working closely with IP video technology leader Exterity to achieve seamless integration between Exterity’s ArtioGuest interactive guest experience portal and the latest Sony BRAVIA professional displays, which have Chromecast support built in.

The latest Sony professional displays benefit from built-in Chromecast functionality, enabling users to easily share content from subscription services, such as Netflix, YouTube, Kayo Sports, Foxtel Now and Spark Sports from their mobile device directly to the Sony screen.

This removes the need for a Chromecast dongle and other external 3rd party devices and services, simplifying ongoing support and maintenance. ArtioGuest, with its direct access to the Sony built-in Chromecast functionality, securely connects Sony TVs, Chromecast services and the guest’s mobile device, while protecting the user’s personal data.

Last but by no means least is Sony’s All-in-One Meeting Display Solution – BRAVIA Meeting software licence WQ-BM1, designed to make every meeting more productive with BRAVIA 4K professional displays – FW-BZ35F Series.

More on BRAVIA Meeting
BRAVIA Meeting is an easy to use software solution using BRAVIA as an effective meeting display screen that;
Centrally manage and control all connected displays either onsite or remotely
Improve meeting productivity by solving typical meeting room problems with the sharing of presentation content on a screen by both the presenter and participants
When there are no meetings underway, you can easily display daily corporate news or point to your company website
Integrates meeting room bookings with most major calendar applications and management platforms including Microsoft 365, Outlook and Google Calendar

This highly-scalable all-in-one information sharing and display management solution is ideal for smaller and medium-sized businesses and adds a professional accent to boardrooms, meeting rooms and huddle spaces by enabling customisation of the content shown on a BRAVIA display screen. You can create a homepage with your company logo, include a welcome message or simply show your company website. Further to this customisation, for BRAVIA display used in meeting rooms you can show the name of the room, booking schedule and any other useful information on the BRAVIA display screen.

There are also a range of companion apps and accessories that enhance real-time communication between meeting room participants enabling you to wirelessly share screenshots, pointer movements and hand-drawn annotations between BRAVIA 4K Professional Displays and participants’ own devices (PCs and tablets) using the BRAVIA Meeting client app. Coupled with Sony’s touch overlay panels, you can turn a BRAVIA FW-BZ35F Series display into an interactive touch screen. At Integrate we will also be introducing Sony’s own full HD USB camera and microphone unit – FWA-CE100 to complete our All-in-One Meeting Display Solution offering.

To see working demos on all of the above visit Sony Australia stand E10 at this year’s Integrate Expo from 27-29 August at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
