Foxtel On Demand in August

Winter continues with Game of Thrones season 7, plus Top of the Lake: China Girl, Casual, Ray Donovan and the James Bond Pop-up Channel available to watch On Demand

The latest season of Game of Thrones has already smashed viewership records and is on the way to set even more as the seventh season of the fire-breathing, sword-swinging fan favourite continues to add new episodes to Foxtel On Demand throughout August. Companion series, Thronecast also adds new episodes each week as pundits share their thoughts on the latest drama across Westeros.

August also sees the arrival of the much anticipated local production of the BBC First and Foxtel co-production Top of the Lake: China Girl, season three of Casual, the comedy/ drama about love, dating and relationships, and crime drama Ray Donovan season five; plus new movies including sci-fi thriller Arrival; superhero film, Doctor Strange and crime thriller The Accountant. August also features a special Bond Pop-Up channel celebrating 55 years of James Bond with every movie from Dr. No to Spectre also available to watch On Demand.

Crime drama Top of the Lake: China Girl explores the mysterious circumstances behind the discovery of an unidentified body of a girl who surfaces on Sydney’s Bondi shore and stars Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men, The Handmaid’s Tale), Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies) and Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones).

Casual follows bachelor Alex Cole as he finds himself moving in with his newly divorced sister Valerie and her teenage daughter as they all navigate the tricky world of dating and relationships. Season three joins the first two seasons already available on Foxtel On Demand.

Ray Donovan stars Liev Schreiber as a complicated fix-it man for LA’s rich and famous. He’s the go-to guy that makes ‘problems’ disappear for athletes, celebrities and anyone can afford his services; but, Ray’s past is constantly haunting him along with a troubled family and an unpredictable father. Season five joins seasons three and four now streaming On Demand.

Foxtel’s other August arrivals include new episodes of Taboo, Court Justice: Sydney and Common Sense, along with season 15 of Geordie Shore, season 16 of Project Runway and season 6 of My Dream Home.
