Hunger Games feast comes to Foxtel Store
See all the movies in the Hunger Games franchise so far for $9.95
To celebrate the arrival of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 in Foxtel Store, Foxtel is giving its subscribers the opportunity to watch all three Hunger Games movies released so far as part of a special pay-per-view marathon.
Foxtel subscribers will be able to watch all three films released in the successful franchise to date – The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 – as many times as they like from 10am on Friday March 6, through to Sunday March 8, for a single $9.95 fee.
This special Hunger Games marathon will be run on Foxtel’s Main Event channel (Channel 518). Foxtel iQ subscribers who purchase the marathon can also record the films and watch them on demand during the marathon weekend. The films will be available to view in either HD or SD depending on customers’ subscriptions.
To order the Hunger Games Movie Marathon, customers can phone 131 999 or visit the Foxtel website, www.foxtel.com.au.
Starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Australia’s Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, the Hunger Games films, based on novels written by Suzanne Collins, have set global box-office records.
“The Hunger Games saga is one of the most popular film franchises of the past decade and we’re thrilled to offer fans the ability to watch the first three instalments of this spectacular action adventure in the one place. Seeing these three features back-to-back is one of the most binge-worthy events available and we’re certain die-hard fans will be eager to catch up on, or relive, the adventures of Katniss, Gale, Peeta, Haymitch and their companions,” Shaun James, Foxtel Director of Presto and VOD said.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will also be available to rent on its own in the Foxtel Store – on demand from Friday March 6, and on the Box Office channels from Wednesday, March 11.
