Hosted by writer, actor and comedian Celeste Barber in front of a crowd of over 75,000 at ANZ Stadium, FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA featured a spectacular line-up of local and international artists coming together to raise money after the devastating bushfires that swept across large parts of Australia. Presented by TEG Dainty and TEG Live, the sell-out event was broadcast live and in full on Foxtel.

Foxtel’s Executive Director of Television, Brian Walsh, said: “FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA was one of the most significant moments in Australian entertainment history. This was a day that Australia united and supported each other, raising an extraordinary $11.1 million dollars for bushfire relief. One year on, we’re proud to celebrate this incredible event, reliving the best performances from the day.”

The two-hour anniversary special will feature Queen and Adam Lambert’s showstopping recreation of the band’s infamous set at Live Aid; Alice Cooper’s blistering performance of iconic tracks Poison and School’s Out; and k.d. lang’s moving cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah. Other international artists include global superstars Michel Bublé and Ronan Keating.

The highlights package will also feature the memorable performances from a huge line-up of Australian music industry heavyweights including John Farnham, Olivia Newton John, Delta Goodrem, Tina Arena, Guy Sebastian, 5 Seconds of Summer, Hilltop Hoods and Jessica Mauboy.
