Epson Australia launches new Expression Premium Photo range
Print high-quality photos and documents with these stylish, compact all-in-ones

SYDNEY, 30 November 2017 – Epson Australia has built on the success of its popular all-in-one printers, the Expression Premium Photo range, with the launch of the new XP-6000, XP-8500, and XP-15000 models. Stylish and compact, these versatile all-in-one models combine printing, scanning and copy facilities in one unit – ideal for modern homes. And with a host of mobile printing options, it’s easy to produce glossy photos and crisp, clear documents from almost anywhere in the home, or even the world2.

The XP-6000 offers a new compact design, faster speeds of 15.8 ppm (black) and 11.3 ppm (colour), CD/DVD printing, auto 2 sided printing, wireless
Wi-Fi Direct, AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, a 2.4” LCD screen, a 100 sheet input first tray and 20 sheet input second tray and a 50-sheet output capacity.

The XP-8500 offers all that the XP-6000 does with a 2.7” LCD screen and critically now also offers a 6-colour printing solution – a major bonus for home premium photo printing. With speeds of 9.5 ppm (black) and 9 ppm (colour) and a yield of 500 (black) and 830 (colour) with XL sizes the XP-8500 is a serious player in this market.

The XP-15000 will be launched in December 2018.

Busy households and aspiring photographers can take the fuss and expense out of printing photos with a printer that can produce better-than-lab-quality photographs at home, and on demand. The Expression Premium Photo range uses Claria Premium Inks, which are renowned for producing outstanding, glossy photos with sharp detail, deep blacks and rich, vibrant colours. The XP-6000’s five inks and XP-8500’s 6 inks can be individually replaced as and when a particular colour runs out, making it economical. They’re also designed to handle printing documents expertly too, providing the complete package.

The Expression Premium Photo models’ connectivity features provide even more freedom for users. There’s no need to be deskbound; Wi-Fi ensures it’s easy to print and scan from around the home and Wi-Fi Direct makes it possible to print without a wireless network. There’s also the free downloadable apps that form Epson Connect2. It’s easy to print and scan wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet around the home using the free iPrint2 app. And for those that are out and about, Epson Email Print2 lets users email documents and photos directly to the printer from almost anywhere in the world. Meanwhile, imaginative users can tap into the free Creative Print2 app to print photos directly from Facebook, create custom greeting cards, turn photos into colouring book templates, and plenty more.

The models are packed with user-friendly functions including double-sided printing, a LCD screen for easy navigation, a front-loading paper tray and a memory card slot to make it easy to print photos without a PC. Additionally, the XP-6000 and XP-8500 are capable of printing on suitable CDs and DVDs.

The Expression Premium Photo XP-6000 (RRP $179.00) and XP-8500 (RRP $299.00) are available now from www.epson.com.au and all good Epson retailers and resellers across Australia.
