Foxtel’s MAX music channel celebrates Australia’s most iconic voice on music, Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum, on his fifty year milestone in the music industry by marking the occasion with the telecast of THE MOLLY MELDRUM STORY on Thursday November 27 at 8.30pm followed by an entire weekend dedicated to the man with the signature Stetson hat on Saturday December 6 and 7.
Celebrating Molly as a successful critic, journalist, presenter and record producer, MAX pays tribute to this iconic Australian, chronologically through his illustrious career, from the ground-breaking music show Countdown to Hey Hey It’s Saturday, it has been an extraordinary, eccentric and action packed ride for Molly and it’s not over yet.
This December MAX kicks off the tribute to Molly’s 50 years in the music industry on Saturday December 6 with a non-stop weekend of Mollyrama across both days through to midnight Sunday December 7.
