FUJIFILM sees great success with SX800 long range surveillance camera at SECTECH Roadshow

SYDNEY, 6 June 2019 – Recently FUJIFILM Australia saw great success with the launch of its FUJINON SX800 long range surveillance camera at the SecTech Roadshow, a touring tradeshow that covers five Australian state capitals over two weeks every year in May and draws thousands of high-quality attendees.
SecTech Roadshow’s formula is to take a select group of 20 cutting-edge electronic security manufacturers and suppliers, along with their latest products and solutions, on a joint roadshow that leverages the collective pulling power of the group, as well as the redoubtable strength of SEN’s print and digital promotional engines.
FUJIFILM Australia’s Business Development Manager Simon Murphy said, “The SecTech Roadshow was a very good way of showcasing the SX800 across the country to key people within the security industry. We had an unprecedented level of interest from systems integrators, corporation managers, contractors and surveillance specialists within government organisations.”
The FUJINON SX800 long range surveillance camera is equipped with a high-performance, built-in FUJINON lens that covers a focal length of 20mm-800mm. The camera was developed by harnessing FUJIFILM’s optical and advanced image processing technology. It also captures clear images of distant subjects with the top-performance optical image stabilisation technology, high-quality heat haze and fog reduction, and high-speed autofocus.
The SX800 includes top-performance image stabilisation technology is capable of compensating for a correction angle of up to ±0.22 degrees. The SX800 expands the shooting range and improves the image quality of surveillance cameras, thus contributing to higher levels of security.
FUJIFILM joined SecTech as part of their reseller BGWT’s stand. BGWT is one of the largest dealers of CCTV and surveillance technology in Australia.
