You can now use Foxtel play on PS3.

Foxtel Play comes to PlayStation®3 just in time for Game of Thrones Season four

With the first episode of Game of Thrones season four less than one week away, PlayStation®3 (PS3™) owners can now sign up to Foxtel Play and get in on the latest intrigue across the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. The addition of PlayStation 3 to the Foxtel Play device list means that the 2 million Australians that own a PlayStation 3 can use their console to subscribe to Foxtel Play’s great line up of programming.

PlayStation 3 owners can download the Foxtel Play app using a registered PlayStation®Network (PSN) account. The news also comes as subscribers are beginning to take advantage of Foxtel’s showcase special event, offering customers a discounted subscription to Premium Movies & Drama, including showcase, which will air season four of Game of Thrones.

The Emmy® and Golden Globe-winning fantasy series will screen its fourth season starting on Monday, April 7 at 3.30pm AET Express from the US on showcase, the ‘home of HBO’. In the lead up to season four, new and die-hard fans who subscribe to showcase can also relive the action from past seasons via catch-up on Foxtel Play, including the complete collection from seasons two and three.

Foxtel Play will also be coming soon to PlayStation®4 (PS4™). The PlayStation® devices add to the growing number of ways people can enjoy Foxtel Play, which includes eligible LG and Samsung Smart TVs, selected Samsung BluRay and home theatre systems, Xbox 360 and PC and Mac computers.

Foxtel Play enables customers with a broadband connection to watch programs from Foxtel’s amazing range of drama, entertainment, documentary and movie channels live or on catch-up.

Foxtel Play offers customers access to content within minutes of signing up and enables them to subscribe by the month and pay as they go. With no lock-in contract and no installation costs, subscribers can stop and start their subscription month-to-month, to suit their circumstances or viewing choices.

Foxtel Play customers also have access to Foxtel Go* as part of their subscription. In addition to their primary device, customers can register Foxtel Go on up to two additional devices including selected iPads and iPhones and selected Samsung Android tablets and smartphones.

The showcase special event enables Foxtel Play subscribers to add Premium Movies and Drama to their first $25* genre pick for only $10* extra giving fans access to Game of Thrones season four as well as other highly acclaimed programming such as Mad Men, House of Cards, True Blood and a host of blockbuster and library movies for only $35* per month for the first three months. Customers who sign up to Foxtel Play between 1 – 30 April 2014 will benefit from the special pricing, as will existing Foxtel Play customers who already subscribe to the Premium Movies & Drama pick between 1 – 30 April 2014.
