Recently I purchased a Toshiba Satellite L50 – C002 Laptop. This notebook in my opinion is a middle of the road device, in between the entry level notebooks and the high end gaming devices. Here is my quick review

I have been using it for over a month and I have been very happy with it, while it’s not perfect it gives you good all round performance. I have a visual disability but found the display bright and vibrant. The keyboard is responsive and is also fairly quiet, no loud clack clack clack.

I am not a demanding power user or gamer but I found the notebook very responsive to most tasks I through at it. The I7 processor did a good job, I have not tested it with games but with normal office applications, audio and video recording and internet usage the laptop breezed through it all.

It is certainly no ultrabook so the weight maybe an issue for some of you, this laptop is suited to being a desktop replacement but it is still light enough to be carried around. It comes with an array of USB and a HDMI port, SD Card as well as a DVD burner (optical drive) all in all I found this laptop to be a good purchase, but with any device it depends on your needs so do your homework first before making that purchase. The price for the Toshiba is around $1400

In conclusion if you are looking for a mid level workhorse that also has some additional horsepower then I would certainly take a look at the Toshiba Satellite L50 – C002.
