With the Spring property market in full swing, and the Christmas DIY rush just around the corner, LIFESTYLE HOME has pulled together all your favourite renovation shows set to inspire, inform and entertain in a special Reno Month this October.
Kicking off the renovation madness is the hugely popular second series of BROTHER Vs BROTHER on Wednesday, October 1 at 9.30pm. Each one-hour episode pits twins Jonathan and Drew Scott against one another as they mentor a team of home improvement experts, with the winners taking home the grand prize of $50,000.
The following night, Mike Holmes is back doing what he does best – making it right. HOLMES MAKES IT RIGHT (Series 2, Batch 2) premieres on Thursday October 2 at 9.30pm, and this time Mike plans to extend the meaning of “Make It Right” outside the residential domain and outside his comfort level. In this series, Mike doesn’t just want to make a difference in the home, he wants to make people’s lives better as he takes on disasters that would make other contractors run.
From October 11, LIFESTYLE HOME will feature double episodes of FLIP THIS HOUSE every Saturday at 1.30pm. Tackling one of the most exciting aspects of today’s high-stakes real estate market – the transformation of an eyesore into a profit-making beauty – FLIP THIS HOUSE follows the travails of real-estate investors with a team of characters that buys homes, renovates them in a record time, then flips them for a profit. It sounds simple, but sparks fly and tempers are high before the fixer-uppers are ready to go back on the market.
And construction guru Bryan Baeumler returns with LEAVE IT TO BRYAN (Series 3, Batch 2) from Tuesday October 21 at 9.30pm. Homeowners get a much needed reality check in the ultimate reno tug-of-war between wants and needs! With Bryan choosing a space based on the biggest need, priorities clash and reno dreams are put on pause. Watch as homeowners are forced to re-evaluate their renovation expectations and how Bryan takes their renovations from gut to glory.
