The 75th ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS

Live on FOX8 Monday January 8 from 11.00am

The Golden Globes, which celebrate the best in film and television, are turning 75 and FOX8 will again beam all the glitz and glamour live and exclusive from Hollywood’s most prestigious event on Monday January 8 – red carpet from 11.00am, with the awards ceremony from 12.00pm (AEDT).

Cementing its place as Australia’s home for quality drama, 11 of Foxtel’s blockbuster series on showcase have been nominated for Golden Globes: Game of Thrones, Big Little Lies, Feud: Bette and Joan, Ray Donovan, The Wizard of Lies, Mr. Robot, The Deuce, Genius, Insecure, Shameless, Better Things and OutlanderTop of the Lake: China Girl, airing on BBC First and Genius on National Geographic, have also been nominated.

During the live awards telecast from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA, host Seth Myers and a string of Hollywood stars will pay tribute and celebrate how far the industry has come since the first awards presentation back on January 20, 1944 that celebrated the cinematic achievements of 1943, including Best Actor Paul Lukas in Watch on the Rhine, Best Actress Jennifer Jones in The Song of Bernadette, and Best Picture going to The Song of Bernadette.

Of the 11 Golden Globe television categories, Foxtel’s series have been nominated in an incredible 10 categories making the 2018 awards another win for subscription television in Australia. The nominations include:
