Foxtel on demand in November
The Walking Dead season 7; a host of BBC hits; fan favourite The Wire and the latest episodes from new arrival Divorce; plus new movie blockbusters Deadpool, The Revenant, Zootopia and more
Foxtel today announced the November line up of complete seasons and movie favourites that will join the hit shows already available to stream, on demand^, from Foxtel, including a massive boost to Foxtel’s collection of great BBC programming.
One of the most watched TV shows in the world, The Walking Dead, returns with season 7 and new episodes will be available on demand as the season plays out bringing viewers the latest from the human/ zombie drama.
Foxtel’s longstanding history with the BBC has provided a host of brilliant UK drama for Foxtel subscribers. Among November’s arrivals are seasons of Call the Midwife (seasons 1, 2, 3 & 5), which follows a newly qualified midwife in a moving, funny and colourful look at midwifery and family in 1950s East End London. Also arriving is police drama Happy Valley (seasons 1-2); British detective series Maigret and The Living and the Dead, a paranormal drama about a farm family trying to live a peaceful rural life in the face of strange supernatural forces.
From HBO comes The Wire (seasons 1-6), a gritty crime drama that looks at the narcotics scene in a US city through the eyes of law enforcers, drug dealers and users. Also from HBO comes brand new series Divorce, which centres on two people who, after more than a decade of marriage and two children, have suddenly began to reassess their strained relationship. New episodes of Divorce arrive on demand following the overseas broadcast Express from the US.
Also arriving on demand in November are new episodes of The Affair, season 3 (joining seasons 1-2); the return of Deadwood (seasons 1-3); the on demand debut of The Librarians (seasons 1-2) as well as the second half of Lifestyle favourite Dance Moms season 6.
Foxtel on demand’s key movies in November include superhero film Deadpool, about a former special forces operative who gains super powers (and a twisted sense of humour) after being experimented on by an evil scientist; vengeance filled frontier epic The Revenant starring academy award winner Leonardo DiCaprio; high adrenaline FBI action blockbuster Point Break; the fun family story of an animal filled metropolis with Zootopia; and period drama meets a zombie apocalypse with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
