Foxtel, the Country Music Channel (CMC), Australia’s only destination for country music, and CMC Rocks QLD are thrilled to announce that international superstars, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE and Australia’s own ADAM HARVEY will perform LIVE at The 6th Annual CMC Music Awards on March 10, 2016.

Florida Georgia Line, country music duo Brian Kelly and Tyler Hubbard are hailed as the hottest country act in the industry right now and will make their way to Australia for the first time to perform at the CMC Music Awards.

Florida Georgia Line, the current Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Country Music Awards (CMA) Duo of the Year, are the only artists in history to join Brooks & Dunn in achieving four back-to-back, multi-week #1 singles. They hold the record for the longest #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart (with their crossover hit “Cruise” ft. Nelly) and have sold more than 21 million tracks worldwide from their 2X Platinum debut album “Here’s to the Good Times” and follow up “Anything Goes”.

Joining Florida Georgia Line on the bill is Aussie country music star Adam Harvey, who is set to hit the CMC Awards stage for the first time. Multiple ARIA Award nominee and 8 time Golden Guitar winner Adam Harvey is one of Australia’s most popular and enduring country stars with a career spanning over two decades. Encapsulating half a million sales, gold and platinum albums, Adam’s new endeavour, Harvey’s Bar… The Backyard Sessions has spent three weeks at #1 on the ARIA Country chart. It follows on from the success of Family Life and the Great Country Songbook, his chart-topping collaboration with Troy Cassar-Daley.

Florida Georgia Line and Adam Harvey add even more star power to the awards line-up, joining country music superstar Jason Aldean and rising country star Kelsea Ballerini, also hitting Australian soil for the first time.

Florida Georgia Line will join Jason Aldean’s headline shows as his guests on his first and highly anticipated tour in Australia in March 2016, which promises to be a high-octane country-rock extravaganza.

Face of CMC, Morgan Evans, will host country music’s night of nights and will be joined by some of country music’s finest artists and bands with further local and international performers announced in the coming weeks.
