Foxtel Movies is paying homage to all things Indian across its A Taste of India pop-up weekend from Saturday 1 December to Sunday 2 December, with 48 hours of back to back Indian themed movie titles screening live and streaming On Demand.

Inspired by the land of dreams, aspirations, food and love that is Bollywood, the special Foxtel Movies pop-up weekend will share the movies that showcase the most entertaining stories and most stunning visuals from India.

From the epic Slumdog Millionaire (Dev Patel, Freida Pinto) and Life of Pi, to Wes Anderson’s cult classic The Darjeeling Limited (Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Jason Schwartzman) and the worldwide celebrated The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (Judy Dench, Bill Nighy), clear your weekend plans and enjoy a line-up of films that will make you want to travel to India.

UnIndian shot in Sydney Australia with cricketer Brett Lee , Bride & Prejudice from director Gurinder Chadha, the British epic A Passage to India, the romantic Indian film The Lunchbox, the New York set The Guru (Jimi Mistry, Heather Graham) and recent musical comedy Basmati Blues with Brie Larson round out what is set to be an event that celebrates the mystery, diversity and passion of India.

Foxtel Movies’ line-up of Indian inspired titles will screen back-to-back across the exclusive A Taste of India pop-up channel with all titles available to stream On Demand via Foxtel Now and FoxFlicks (titles available on A Taste of India playlist until February 1, 2019).
